Here's a quick rundown of the dates and plans for the upcoming general SJBS meetings:

• March 1, 2012 - Workshop & trunk show by Artful Beads
  
• April 5, 2012 - Workshop with Ellen Marshall

You asked; we listened!  We (the BOD) are happy to announce that beginning in January, we will be having monthly "Bead Rendezvous" at the local bead shops! The owners, Amy from the "Bead & Glass Boutique" in Pitman, Barbara from "Artful Beads" in Pennington, and Victoria from the "Bead Cellar" in Pennsauken, have all agreed to set aside a block of time when members from SJBS can get together in their stores and bead. In addition, they will have "special offers" (such as a class or sale items or whatever!!) to bead society members who participate in the "Rendezvous"! Seating is limited, so you must RSVP by phone or email to the shops before you go. You are free to bring a snack to share with your fellow beaders.

We are very excited about this new endeavor and hope that you find these "Rendezvous" to be satisfying and fun. In an effort to allow everyone to participate, days and times will vary from month to month. Please be patient while we try to establish what works best for the shop owners and the members. And, please, feel free to offer feedback to our Board members as well as the shop owners.
