The South Jersey Bead Society (SJBS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the study of and education about beads, encouraging and promoting public appreciation for beads and the art of beading, disseminate information about beads and beading, develop and administer programs concerning beads and beading, and the establishment and maintenance of a lending library of books, magazines and videos about beads and beading.

To advance this mission, SJBS holds 10 general member meetings, special seminars and workshops (listing), annual retreats (for members only), field trips, and sponsors an annual bead show: Bead Binge.
