Reversible Seashell Necklace

Melissa Grakowski Shipee

Melissa is a published beadwork designer who teaches workshops internationally, contributes regularly to books and magazines, and illustrates diagrams for other instructors. Her publications include two full-length instructional beading books, as well as projects in multiple magazines. Melissa has been a Beadwork Magazine Designer of the Year and a Starman Trendsetter

This challenging project uses three-sided prismatic right angle weave (3-PRAW) and peyote stitch to create the dimensional seashell with hidden treasure inside and embellishment outside, a peyote stitch tie and a 3-PRAW neck strap with toggle bar and loop closure

Project is suitable for beaders comfortable with advanced and intermediate bead weaving. Pre-requisite stiches are peyote, ladder, and 3-PRAW

Kits are $40 + $8 flat shipping for any number of kits including kits for other classes

Class size limits: Minimum 10 students, maximum 25 students

Fees:

$75 early bird member rate (effective 9/2/2021 to 9/22/2021)

$85 member rate (effective 9/23/2021 to 10/20/2021)

$95 non member rate (effective 10/14/2021 to 10/20/2021)

  • The instructor has requested that we adhere to the 10/20/2021 deadline for registration to allow time for kit selection, invoicing, and shipping. Registration requests after 10/20/2021 are dependent upon instructor acceptance.

  • NO cancellations for ZOOM classes 
  • Supply list will be sent with acknowledgement of paid registration
