Bead Education: Russian Spiral/Herringbone Transition taught by SJBS Co-Prez Johanna Zitto
Interesting spiral ropes can be created by combining these two stitches. Learn how to make the transitions in this techniques tutorial.
1 6-inch pipe cleaner or thin plastic coffee stirrer
Size 11 round seed beads in 2 colors
Size 8 round seed beads in 1 color (different from Stop Bead and 11’s)
Size 11 Delica beads in 1 color
1 - 10mm round bead or pearl
Size 10 or 12 beading needle and thread of choice
