Doppia Faccia Farfalla Geometric Pendant
The pendant's name is an apt description: two identical sides resembling a butterfly. The heptagonal (7 sided) geometric shape waves and folds on itself to create the unique look of this pendant. The mix of peanut beads and size 11/0 round seed beads in gradient colors create two matching faces with eye catching appeal. Dangle a crystal drop or accent bead from the bottom for added interest! This geometric beadwork heptagon combines herringbone and peyote stitches.
SJBS 2023/2024 President Johanna Zitto’s passion for beadwork began many years ago, influenced by her gifted mother and grandmothers. She is a long time SJBS member. Besides her interest in design and construction, Johanna teaches beadwork classes for regional bead societies and bead shops. Her work was featured in a Lark Press book Showcase 500 Beaded Jewelry, and one of her creations toured the world with the TOHO Bead Company, as an entry in the 2013 TOHO Challenge.
