2022 SJBS Beaders Challenge

SJBS Members of all skill levels, thread your needle for the 2022 SJBS Beaders’ Challenge! 

By popular request, the Beaders’ Challenge is back! Here’s the scoop…

Theme: Harvest Moon.  

Entries must relate to the Fall season, e.g. foliage, harvest, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and such.

Entry:

Entrants must be a SJBS Member in good standing. Only one entry per person.

Entry must be:

accompanied by a completed Entry Form;

made up of at least 80% beads;

an original design of the person submitting it - no kits or other designer’s patterns;

entirely constructed by the person submitting it.

Categories:

Two (2) categories — wearable and non-wearable.

One (1) winner selected for each category.

Timeline: 

All entries are due by the Sept. 1, 2022 monthly program to the Beaders’ Challenge

Judging will occur in September by a panel of experts looking for technique(s), creativity, 

quality of execution, visual appeal and relevance to the theme. 

Winners will be announced at the October program.

Prizes:

All entries will be posted on the SJBS website, Facebook and Instagram.

Winning entries and artists will be featured on the SJBS website, Facebook, Instagram, and

in the monthly newsletter.     

Besides recognition and acknowledgment, the winners will each receive a $50 Gift Card for Lucy’s Bead Boutique!
